Updates are years behind due to a statewide funding freeze on the money that is intended to be used for these physical updates. Here at Pilgrim we face many of the same issues these schools are dealing with... leaking roofs, outdated technology, crumbling ceilings and ceiling tiles, no wi-fi, poor ventilation, and a fairly significant mouse problem.
Is it unfair to expect students across the state to learn in these types of environments? How can students be expected to perform well on the multitudes of standardized tests, presentations, and senior project if the building in which they are housed fail to provide a positive physical learning environment?
What is your opinion on the physical state of your school?
