Recently, Hubbard, Fuqua, and Mauch have written in favor of slavery, the deportation of all Muslims, and the institution of the death penalty for rebellious children.
In 2010 Hubbard published a book entitled “Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative, in the book he wrote:
“… the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise. The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth.” (Pages 183-89)
Hubbard has also organized an event with a keynote address in favor of President Lincoln’s assassination and in support of John Wilkes Booth.
In 2000 Mauch began to write letters to local newspapers in which he called President Lincoln a “fake neurotic Northern war criminal” who committed “premeditated murder” on the Constitution… he likened Lincoln and his generals to Nazi Germany and claimed the Confederate flag is “a symbol of Christian liberty…” In a letter from 2009 to the Arkansas Times he also wrote,
“If slavery were so God-awful, why didn’t Jesus or Paul condemn it, why was it in the Constitution and why wasn’t there a war before 1861?”
In a 2012 book entitled “God’s Law” Fuqua said there is, “no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States…” and he said that his “views are fairly well-accepted by most people…”
Finally, in the same book Fuqua said that he supports the death penalty for rebellious children. He claims that because the practice of parents using such capital punishment is in the bible it should be allowed and regulated by the court system. He feels that while most parents would not exercise this right, the power to do so would serve to stop rebellious children.
