After reading the report it seems like he was a target by someone who didn't like what happened in a case he took part in. As a lawyer it seems that he could be a target, but it says he deals with business letigations and divorces. That causes a concern because it didn't seem like he should be around such danger, but he is. The person that did this will certainly face centuries in prison for atempted homicide.

I feel like this "car bomber" was after this man for something. There really aren't many random car bombings. The man is a lawyer, which could be why he was targeted. But, if this is a random car bombing, then the man/woman who did it, did not succeed, but put the man and his son in the hospital with injuries. I hope they find the man/woman soon to find out if the man that was car bombed was targeted or if the bombing was random.

To tell the truth, I know what happened. A bomb blew up...*crickets*...tough crowd...as usual.

I think the people injured were a target. There is a little chance that this could have been a ‘wrong place and the wrong time’ incident. Do not take this the wrong way but, why would anyone waste a bomb on a life that has no meaning to them? In the end, justice must be served and the people responsible for this bombing will hopefully pay for it. Also, here’s to hoping that the victims successfully recover! (:

This is crazy. Why would anyone want to kill someone like this. I think that these people were targeted but a crazy idiot. I just don't get what the world is coming to, why must people kill each other or hurt each other I just think it's really wrong. I hope this person gets caught for what he or she did. I also hope that the people injured have a full recovery.

I don't know if investigators will find any evidence because it would have been blown up in the bombing. I really hope that the victims of this each make a full recovery. I also hope that the 'mastermind' behind this is put behind bars.

This is a typical case of attempted homicide. Of course, no one knows whether the three people were targeted, or randomly chosen, but soon enough the one(s) behind the attack will be caught. Obviously car bombs aren't the best method for murder, which is good for the victims. As for evidence, there is always a way to trace events, whether people know it or not.

If the car bomb was random then the bomber would have wanted more people to get hurt because isn't it the object of a bomber to kill/hurt as many people as possible(as told in Criminal Minds)? But if was not random then the bomber may try again, if they are not caught, when those that were hurt recover. I'm just glad that no one died and I hope those people recover!

I agree with Nikkii. I think that the people that were injured severely were the targets. Why would someone blow up a bomb when those people were near it... if they weren't the targets? They most likely were. And this person, this culprit, is clearly a professional. He/She (you never know) covered up his/her tracks so well the authorities don't even have a single lead. That takes skill, you've got to admit that.

Didn't this happen in New York a couple years ago? Anyway, I don't know ho the police are going to find out who did this if it was intentional. There is no evidence except for thousands of blown up car parts. No finger prints or anything like that. Good luck finding the criminal if that person purposely did this.

I dont think this was any "accident" or "coincidence". A bomb is placed to hurt or kill someone....no one just says "Oh i think i'm going to go put a bomb in that car!" As disapointing it is to say this, but that bomb was meant to kill those people in that car. Thank god that they are okay, i hope they recover well in the hospital! Also that the person who put that bomb, gets caught and put behind bars.

good luck finding them! I think it is a random one. but then again not. Because it couldn't have been a random bomb going off in some ones car. but i think its random because that probably doesn't happen often. Who ever gets the money is lucky because they are smart, and they get alot of money for their smarts:)

I strongly believe that this car bombing was not random. Lets think realistically, the owner of the car is a lawyer, although none of us know what some of his recent cases have been in to the court room it is very possible that he could have gained some enemies. Weather it was someone he was prosecuting and the case went well for him but bad for the defendent or he was defending someone and he failed to keep them innocent, this lawyer is bound to gain an enemy if not many. Lawyers have a very dangerous job, no matter what case they have in court odds are someone isnt going to be happy with the outcome.

There are really stupid people in this world...who knows if the people that got hurt were being targeted because this incident could have just been random and the losers that made the explosion could have just been doing it for fun. That is terrible...I feel bad for the people that got hurt. They could be totally innicent. I hope they recover soon and i really hope the idiots that caused to explosion are caught and PUNISHED.

I believe that this car bombing was on purpose. This man or woman definitely had something against this lawyer. The person who set up the bomb in this car was planning to kill these people. Thankfully, these people are only dealing with injuries and were not killed in this bombing. This is not a type of incident that is heard of often.

It's scary to think that this could have been a random act and could have happened to anyone. It wouldn't be a good thing for this man to have been targeted but it would be a little less scary. Nobody deserves what happened but it's easier to feel safe if you know that this man had a reason, he wasn't just planting bombs anywhere he pleased.

This was probably random or done by kids, because it's not as famous a state like New York.

Although its possible it could be a random act the chances are its not. The man is a lawyer so he has reasons for why someone would target him. Its not good either way but people automatically believe everything that happens is life or death and theres a bigger plan behind it when there most likely isnt.

This is pretty random, but i dont think people place bombs in cars by "accident". It probably was set up somehow, but the car ended up in the wrong place.

I think that the car bombing was on purpose, if it was random that'd be scary. the bomber must have wanted something and thats why he bombed the car.

This bomb could of been random or meant to hurt someone. It's a good thing no one was killed. It probably was planned.

This is really messed up, to me even more if this was a personal conflict between the man and his enemy. What possesses someone to do something like this. What magnitude of wrong would this victim have to do to recieve this as a return blow?

Whether the investigators can find any evidence depends on how good they are at their job, however I think there is little chance they will find anything. It is possible that there was a specific target in mind but I don't think that is the case here if it was just one person then I doubt they would use a weapon as big as this. If they didn't have a target, they were probably just reminding the town that everyone needs to be on their toes for one reason or another.

I do not believe that the car bomb was intended on injuring or killing these three specific people. I believe that the bombing was a random act and was intended on hurting who ever it possibly could. The person behind the plan will probably never be caught, but maybe someday that person will be brought to justice.

They might not find this guy. Hopefully the victims recover fully. Maybe they could have seen some sort of clue. Comments are closed.
