Lillian is clearly a very sweet girl and very deserving of homecoming queen. However, she did not deserve the foolish prank she got. I think that what her friends did for her will be memory that stays with her for life. Lillian was queen for a day, and not many people can say they were. Also, her friend, even though she won, says that Lillian won the title of homecoming queen. What is the best part of this story is that Lillian did not let the bullies get to her and she remained positive. This just shows you that even the smallest act of kindness can impact someone's life.
I really wish we saw acts of kindness like this daily. A choice like giving up your homecoming crown for someone who truly deserves it will be something they will remember forever. I'm glad they rose above the mean girls and stayed positive. Lillian seems like the sweetest girl and doesnt deserve to be bullied. In fact, no one does. The girl who originally won was still very deserving of that title because she gave it up for Lillian.
I think that this was one of the nicest things a person could do. This shows that people are judged everyday for their appearance and not what's actually inside. Lillian was a girl who seemed as if she was nice to everyone even thought they may have not been nice to her. She truly deserved the homecoming crown, and because of her friends, she got it. Her friends are truly amazing for what they did. They proved to everyone that actions you take can make a difference in someone else's life. Lillian will most likely remember what her friends did for her, forever.
Lillian clearly deserved to become homecoming queen. She seems like the sweetest girl you could possibly ever meet. I don't understand why people feel the need to judge others by what they look like. I'm glad that Lillian's friends made her dream come true to being queen for a night. Lillian's friends were right. Schools need more people like Lillian. Schools need girls like her because not many people stand up to the bullies. She ignored their remarks and showed people that anyone can be beautiful no matter what their appearance is. "Beauty is on the inside", according to Lillian. I am so glad that her friends supported her with everything.
This is such a nice thing to see happen. It can be hard not to base judgement on someone's physical appearance, but it really is personality that matters. Lily must get judged on the daily, and have experience with people only seeing what she looks like and not bothering to take the time to see what a clearly lovely person she is. It's wonderful that she has such good friends to support her and help people see what a sweet girl she is. Bad things happen in the world everyday. Sometimes it's nice to be reassured that good things do to.
This story was such a nice break from the usual depressing violence we see in the news. Here people are getting recognition for their kindness and the good deed they did. Hopefully after seeing how their prank turned out, the mean girls behind this will learn some important lessons. True beauty comes from the inside and maybe those girls will someday realize this. This was very nice of Lily's friends to do and they are obviously very selfless people. They realized that the crown would mean more to Lily than to them and that because she was such a kind and positive person, she deserved to be homecoming queen.
This is such an inspirational story. Most people today are almost always judged on the way they look on the outside before the inside! i think it is crazy myself but i think it is just an instinct to do. Lily is one of those rare people however that could look at someone for who they are and not what they look like. People pick homecoming queens by how pretty they look on the outside, and not always on the inside. This story is very inspirational, and i hope many people see this, and think before they judge people by how they look.
I think this video and the story told is so inspiring, if only there were more warm hearted people like this. Lily didn't pay no mind to the people who were trying to put her down, she still always had a positive outlook on everything. Lily's friend deserved that title as well, not just because she won but because even when she was given the title she said that she did not win, Lilly did.
I love this story so much, it is absolutely amazing to see these two friends of Lily to step up and be so supportive. It is so easy to get swept into these mean things that other people do and these lovely girls showed what true friendship is by giving Lily that crown. What the mean girls did to Lily is disgusting and I don't see why people would act that way to such a sweet innocent girl. I am so glad that Lily got this honor to be the homecoming queen and her reaction is absolutely amazing.
I think this story is really inspiring. It shows that there's still good people out in the world who do things not for their own benefit, but for others. Lilian seems very sweet, and seemed like she deserved the title of Homecoming Queen, so the girls were very heroic in my opinion to agree if they won to give the crown to lily. I'm glad they didn't follow the crowd and go along with the mean girls & people making fun of lily. This story is very inspiring and gives me hope about our generation.
I think that what Lillian's friends did for her was amazing. Most girls dream of being homecoming queen. The fact that Lillian's friend gave up her crown for Lillian is amazing. That shows true friendship. On the other hand, what the other girls did was messed up. They shouldn't have played that kind of prank on her. She seems like someone who most people can get along with very easily, which makes me wonder what she did to make them pull this kind of prank. I like how she ignored them & didn't let them get to her. I think that what her friends did for her is amazing.
I think this story is so adorable and proves not all teenage girls are a nightmare and mean! I think that these two girls have a really big heart and deserve something cause yes not all good deeds get you something but this deed was outstanding and after being bullied this helpless girl deserves to be stood up for along with every other person that is bullied in the horrible society that is the teenage mind of high schoolers! They are now role models for girls everywhere so Good job for them! They have shown what real friendship is!
This is a really beautiful story and I think that these three amazing girls got positive recognition for what they did. Lillian will remember being crowned homecoming queen forever and hopefully the girls who tried to prank her will remember it too. The girl who gave up her crown will also look back and have greater memories in giving up the crown than she ever would have if she accepted it. All hail Queen Lily!
This video is so great! It just goes to show that some people do think about others before themselves. I wish more people were like these girls who knew that Lillian was the one who deserved homecoming queen. Lillian seems like such a sweet individual and I'm so happy that she got to experience walking out on the football field getting crowned. She seemed so excited and was probably filled with so much joy! It brought a big smile to my face when I watched this!
I don't understand why some girls have to bully a special needs girl. It just breaks my heart, how can you say something like you made the homecoming court when you know that being on the homecoming court is very exciting and she is going to take that very seriously. How could one do that and watch her going around ask for people to vote for her and having her look like the fool. Also I have a lot of respect of the two girls who both decided if either one wins they will give the crown to her know matter what I find that so touching and very nice of those girls to do that just to see a smile on her face and this story makes me really emotional in both a disrespectful and respectful way. But overall this video goes to show that people care and it inspires me even more to care for other people before myself and to think about how ones actions can effect someone in both a negative and positive way.And watching this made me really happy to see that someone cared so much and putting a smile on Lilian's face And watching this made me smile as well.
I am amazed by this pure and sincere act of kindness. Today most people don't look at people for personality. It is all about how people look. I really enjoy when people take time to get to know people and appreciate them for what is on the inside. I see many instances where people don't even acknowledge someone because the way they look. I think the two girls who helped her get the crown did a really good thing for a girl who couldn't do it herself. What she has gone through with bullying, no one should have to go through that. She is an amazing person to go through that and have a smile on her face. She truly did deserve it.
I think it is terrible that some people are that mean to make a special needs kids believe that they are prom queen. But it's great that there are still people to do things like the two girls did.
This is just an amazing story!! Lillian will always remember this incredible moment in her life apart from the negative bullying she received. The fact that some girls thought it was funny to pull that prank on Lillian is such an ignorant and rude thing to do. Beauty comes from the inside, and that is a lesson that all, including myself need to learn. We always judge other people, intentionally or unintentionally, everyone does. However, everyone needs to take a step back and realize that what is on the inside is what matters. Lillian is a tremendously sweet girl who deserves to have nice friends and it is a relief to see her with those two girls who gave her a memory that will last a lifetime. Congrats Lillian, homecoming queen!!
I think that this is one of the best things that I have heard on the news in a long time. On the news, you are always hearing about all of the bullies and the violence at schools and it is refreshing to see how great people can be. This video really shows the compassion of the human heart and I don't know about anyone else, but it inspires me to want to be a better person. I think it's great that those girls took into account Lillian's beautiful personality and it just really makes you happy to see her so overcome with joy. I think more homecoming queens should be assessed this way rather than just by popularity or external beauty. I am so happy she won!
