I think that it is nice of Alex to involve his older brother Frederic who has cerebral palsy to the canadian olympics and to be around and support his brother. Also it is nice of Alex when people greet Frederic first and he does not get jealous nor does he want the attention first.

Alex Bilodeau seems like a genuinely nice person. He truly cares about his brother Frederic. Even though Frederic suffers from cerebral palsy, that does not make him any less of a person in Alex's eyes. Alex wants Frederic to join him at the Olympics, so if Alex wins another gold medal he can celebrate with his brother, who he says is his motivation to win. That makes Alex Bilodeau even more worthy of a win.

Alex is what I can see a true kind and caring person. For him to support and love his brother for his disability is inspirational and changes the way people act about and with people with severe disabilities. It's great to witness someone who wins for their brother instead of their own self. This guy has respect and does everything he can to make his brother a normal human being. I hope he does well and wins for his brother.

This is a extremely emotional and touching story. The fact that Alex has such love for his brother and tries to inclyde him in many tbings despite his disability blows me away. There should be more stories like this on the news instead of the constant purge of rape, murder, and constant bad news. Of course bad things are gappening out in the world, but doesnt it make sore sense to bring light to the uplifting and heartwarming one's that remind us that there's still some good left in this world?.. I think so.

It is really sweet for Alex to include his older brother Frederick. I thought it was really cool when he had old someone to wait after he won the metal so he could give his brother a hug. its really nice to know that he and his brother are both recognized in the street not just the Olympian.

I think it is really touching that Alex takes his brother to the Canadian Olympics. He treats his brother as more than an equal to him and i feel that more people should be like this and it would make the world a better place. He wants his brother to be with him every step of the way so he could win his gold with Frederic at his side. Together they make a great team and Frederics Cerebral Palsy does not affect their relationship whatsoever, it's really a great thing that's hard to find today.

This is a very touching story. Alex loves his brother so much that he went to him first instead of the Prime minister. We need more people like this in the world. He is a great athlete and an ecen better person.

The relationship between Alex and Frederic is more than inspiring. You can tell that they truly care and support each other, no matter their differences. Seeing Frederic cheering Alex on and watching his brother win shows that the brothers make a good team. It's good that they both get acknowledged in public, and I hope that both of then continue to be happy and successful together.

It's always hard watching a loved one suffer for such a long time. The Bilodeau family is doing the best thing they can do by loving and supporting Frederic as much as they can. It's so touching to see that Alex's brother is such a huge part of his life and that the bond the two brothers have is strong and thriving.

My neighbors just adopted a girl name Niveyah and she has severe disabilities which portray Cerebral Palsy. She is such an inspiration to their family and my family, and every time I see her, her beautiful smile brightens my day. I would do anything for her, as would anyone else who knows her. This blog reminds me of her. Frederic is such an inspiration to Alex which is just wonderful. It was so touching when I saw that Alex went to hug his brother after his gold medal performance before the Prime Minister. That just shows how much he cares about his brother. This is such an emotional story, and I hope their bond will stay closer than ever.

I think it is great that he has that amazing of a relationship with his brother and I think everybody should. Me and my brother have this sort of relationship, although neither of us have disabilities. My brother is my inspiration to keep going even when things get me down. I'm closer to him than I am my own mother. He may not live with us anymore but I still talk to him everyday. And this just reminded me of me and my brother.

I have a lot of respect for Alex because of the way he treats his brother as an equal and not an inferior just because he has cerebral palsy. And I wish him the best of luck in the Olympics this year, I hope he brings home a gold medal for his own hard work, and more importantly for his wonderful brother.

I think that its really cool that not only is the Olympian known in the streets but his older brother too for being there for his younger brother every were he went. These two siblings have a special bond that nobody could break and thats really cool to have.

Alex is a such a great and inspiring person. For Alex to become famous around his country and then still have this relationship with his brother is very touching. Although Alex won the metal i think that its great he brought his brother into the fame with him so that most people notice Frederic even when his is not with Alex. These brothers are so close that it really does amaze people when they hear about this story.

You always hear about the bad stuff that's going on in the world in the news and you seldom hear about the good things. Watching this video about Alex and Frederic Bilodeau warmed my heart. The relationship they have with each other is beautiful, and so is their story. It is admirable of Alex that he helps with ski training and that Fredric paints for charity. They are an amazing and humble pair. I love the whole video but one part that stood out to me was when Alex said that when he won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the prime minister went to go give him a handshake and he told him one minute and went to go hug Frederic. That's awesome and it shows how much love there is between the two. It's such an inspiring story!

I think the Bilodeau brothers are doing great things. The attention Frederic gets is doing wonderful things for Cerebral Palsy. His brother Alex seems to be very grounded. He is humble for saying his brother would be in his place if he didn't have Cerebral Palsy. I love how Alex is more recognized when he is with Frederic. This story brought tears to my eyes!

I feel like when a person does something for one who can't do it themselves it makes his winning so much more important and emotional. This man puts in all this hard work and it isn't even for himself or his country. I think that instead of first shaking the hand of the most powerful man in Canada, he gave his brother a hug first, that to me is so inspirational and it shows that no matter where you live, family will always come first.

This story is truly inspiring. Seeing the love Alex has for his brother, Frederick is amazing. When Alex became emotional over his brother's story it made me proud knowing that we have a man like Alex out there. There are so many Olympic champions who let the fame get to their head, but Alex clearly did not. He let the love for his brother get to his head instead. It shocked me knowing that Alex passed up shaking the hand of the Prime Minister to hug his brother. Once the Olympic season begins, I will definitely be rooting for Alex and I will be on look out for his older brother. This story just leaves me with the happiness of knowing that fame and medals aren't everything, but love and support from your family is.

It is very refreshing to hear such a touching story. I think that he is very sweet for including his brother in everything he does. Your relationship with your siblings is always very important because your family is always there to support you in everything you do. I can't imagine what it is like to have to see your brother or sister be disabled and not be able to achieve the things you can. That's why I think it is great that he includes his brother in as much as possible.

This is inspiring, Alex is a very successful person and he could have abandoned his family for fame but he chose to stay close with his family, especially his brother. His brother is his motivation, Alex does what he does for his brother. Fredrick can't do certain things but when Alex acheives something he shares the success with Fredrick.

This is a wonderful story. Alex is proud to have his brother by his side. Despite his inabilities, Fredrick is always there for his brother. Alex could have explored his talents but waking up knowing his brother is always there is much more valuable.

I think that this story is so inspirational. Alex hugged his brother fist thing after winning gold. He did that to prove to his brother that it was for him and that he tried his hardest for his brother.

This guy makes me want to root for Canada. Some people who have relatives with disabilities don't like to talk about them. They feel embarrassed. This guy shows how much love he had for his brother and family. You can tell that he looks up to his brother for having this disease but no letting it ruin his life. His brother is a symbol for people with disabilities. You can't let the disability ruin your life. You can still do great things. I applaud this guy for putting his family first before himself.

Alex is simply what this world needs. Many people accept others with disabilities and use the word "retarded" not realizing the true effect it has on others. On another note the fact the Alex is truly embracing his brother before the prime minister, shows his true love for his brother. Sometimes people with disabilities aren't accepted by their own families and not even by their own nation. This prime example will hopefully spark the minds of the the oblivious people in the world.

This story is very strong. Alex is an amazing person, and role model. He doesn't let a disability lessen his brother. He loves him and accepts him. This is what the world should do to people with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy. Sometimes people with disabilities are treated wrong, this is why I say Alex Bilodeau is a role model. It is also heart warming to see how much Alex truly cares about his brother. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up after Alex won gold in Vancouver, and went to hug his brother Frederic. I love this story.

I thought it was amazing and nice of Alex to involve his older brother Frederic who has disibilities in his skiing events. It was also inspiring how when Alex won his gold award before shaking the Prime ministers hand Alex went up to his brother and hugged him. There should be more people like Alex showing his loe to a family member or to anyone who has a disibility. Overall, this video should be inspiring more peolle to be like Alex.
